Two strong partners from Hanover have joined the Land of Ideas

On 28th November 2005, HDI Versicherungen and AWD, two Hanoverian companies, received the official associate partnership plaque of the initiative ‘Germany – Land of Ideas’. On the premises of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hanover, Chief Executive Officer FC Deutschland, Mike de Vries, handed over the plaques to Dr. Christian Hinsch, Chairman of the Board of HDI Versicherungen and Götz Wenker, spokesman for the AWD Deutschland GmbH’s Board of Management.

“We consider the invitation to participate in this initiative both as an acknowledgement of our commitment to limitation of damage and risk management and as a challenge”, Dr. Christian Hinsch explained on the occasion. Hinsch continued: “I want all our employees to see the plaque every day and for it to inspire them to continue showing as much personal initiative and wealth of ideas as they have until now.”

Götz Wenker from AWD commented on the company’s commitment to the initiative: “As the inventor of independent financial optimisation services, it is an honour to support this initiative and to present Germany to the world as an innovative and trend-setting location.”
