When Maria Koliou first moved from Cyprus to Austria in 1998, she felt like a stranger. Today she proudly declares: "I come from Europe!" She studied musicology in Vienna, and is now doing an internship at the Cypriot embassy. "I see Europe as a uniting force, it’s like a last name."
