Birgitta Rydholm-Kapoglou, an opera singer, was born in Sweden and has spent much time in England and Italy. For the past seven years, she has lived in Germany, where she met her husband, who is half Greek. Even her dog Oskar is a European through and through: The Scottish Terrier understands German and Swedish commands.
